Charles Carlisle is a Principal of Bristol. Having served as Bristol’s CEO from 2008 through 2021, Mr. Carlisle now focuses on what has become his passion – finding interesting new development opportunities and working with the team to guide them through the acquisition, entitlement, design, and development process.

Prior to Bristol, Mr. Carlisle was Senior Vice President with Birmingham-based Daniel Corporation, where he focused on the development of multiple product types. He was a regional partner with Taylor & Mathis, an Atlanta-based commercial real estate company, where he served in the company’s Birmingham, Atlanta, and Miami offices.

Prior to joining Taylor & Mathis, he was president of Sequoyah Equities, a real estate financing firm in Knoxville, Tennessee, and was co-founder and president of FIS Associates, a financial consulting and investment advisory firm, also based in Knoxville.

Mr. Carlisle is a Certified Public Accountant. He received a B.S. degree in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
